Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a tattoo with you?
You can fill out my booking form with your idea, size, placement, and any reference photos. Once I review your request, I’ll get back to you with availability and details.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. Deposits are non-refundable and go toward the final cost of your tattoo. They hold your spot in my schedule and cover time spent on design prep. If you need to reschedule, please give at least 48 hours notice or your deposit may be forfeited.
How much does a tattoo cost?
Pricing depends on the size, detail, placement, and style of your tattoo. Smaller tattoos are usually priced per piece, while larger projects may be charged by the hour. I’ll provide an estimate once I know the details of your idea.
Can I see the design before my appointment?
I typically create the design the day before or day of your appointment so it’s fresh and tailored to you. We’ll review it together before starting, and small adjustments can be made on the spot.
How should I prepare for my tattoo?
Get a good night’s sleep and eat a full meal before your appointment.
Stay hydrated.
Avoid alcohol, drugs, or blood-thinning medications (unless prescribed by your doctor).
Wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed.
Does it hurt?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but most people describe the sensation as uncomfortable rather than unbearable. Placement matters too—areas with less flesh or more bone tend to be more sensitive. We’ll take breaks if you need them.
What should I bring with me?
Bring anything that will help you feel comfortable—like headphones, a snack, or a drink.
What’s the aftercare process?
Keep your bandage on for the amount of time I recommend, generally 3-5 days.
Wash gently with unscented soap and warm water, then pat dry.
Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free lotion.
Avoid soaking, swimming, tanning, or scratching while your tattoo heals (about 2–4 weeks).
We will discuss aftercare instructions before you leave the studio.
Can I get tattooed if I’m under 18?
No. You must be at least 18 years old with a valid government-issued ID.
Do you do touch-ups?
Yes. I offer one free touch-up within the first few months of healing, if needed. Touch-ups for tattoos that have faded due to neglect, sun damage, or improper aftercare may require an additional fee.
Do you take walk-ins?
Most of my work is appointment-only so I can prepare designs in advance. Occasionally, I may post on social media if I have a last-minute opening or walk-in availability.
